The Antares Versus X Saddle delivers a deeper channel than the previous Versus versions.
With the previous Antares Versus you got a pressure relieving channel that was 7mm deep. The Antares Versus X, however, delivers an increase to 20mm. This added channel depth is done to reduce the likelihood of the saddle flattening out under pressure, and better protect soft tissue areas from uncomfortable pressure.
Similar to the previous Versus, the Versus X features Wing Flex for comfortable riding and increased pedaling power and K:ium rails which are strong and stiff without being prohibitively expensive.
The Antares Versus X Saddle is available in Black with a Red strip and measures 275mm in length, 142mm in width. 216 grams.

as good as it gets
replacing a Specialized Avatar 143mm which is a bit too soft - feels like my sit bones sink in, bringing the soft tissue in contact with the saddle. the Antares VS-X is firmer, and in combo with the broad channel, completely eliminated that problem. added bonus i felt better power transfer, and overall, the bike feels stiffer (in a good way) and faster. only issue for me is that for me, the shape doesn't promote a sweet spot where i automatically dial in. i understand racers like saddles that allow more fore-aft movement... anyway this will be a great choice for many.
