The go-anywhere 38mm deep carbon tubular rims help maximize aerodynamic efficiency without adding unnecessary weight. Sapim bladed spokes and internal alloy nipples further reduce drag, while also keeping weight to a minimum.
The EA90 SL wheels feature Easton's R4SL hubs with sealed ceramic cartridge bearings for smooth, efficient performance and longer service life. The R4 SL freehub body drops a few additional grams off the overall weight, leaving only the splines needed for transmission (non SL freehub body has standard bearings and splines).
Handbuilt and acoustically tuned for a very true wheelset with balanced spoke tension. Sapim bladed spokes: 18 Front laced radial; 24 rear laced radial non-drive side and 2-cross drive side.
The EC90 SL is compatible with Tubular tires only. Size 700c (622mm ISO). Claimed weight: 1250g/set (weighed without included QR skewers). UD Carbon finish for 2011.
