This unique design uses hundreds of sharp lugs to bite down and conform to road surfaces for superior traction on wet pavement and reliable grip over the occasional ice patch. This tread structure performs on hardpacked dirt and gravel as well, all while maintaining a low rolling resistance.
The rubber itself is optimized for cold conditions, increasing grip when temperatures drop below freezing. The Poly X puncture barrier beneath the tread and DuraSkin sidewall protection keep out sharp objects without adding a lot of weight.
