Very quiet trainer tire. Wearing well.

This tire is specific for use on an indoor trainer. The tire was easy to mount and is much quieter on my trainer than the slick that I was using. Bought this tire on sale at a good price. Hoping to get two or three winters use. This tire is worth the investment; no ear plugs needed when running these on your indoor trainer.

If you're using a home trainer, you really should have a trainer-specific tire. Changing wheels on the bike you would typically ride, or having a dedicated trainer bike may be hassles, but at the end of the day the quality of your training will greatly improve with the right gear - and this tire certainly does the job. I like it at 40lbs psi.

I use my bike in a stationary rack. This tire replaced my standard tire. What a difference in workouts and noise.

The tire I got has a bump molded into it!!!

The tire I got has a definite bump in it, creating a nasty continual rumble on the trainer as it hits the roller at speed. I'm very very disappointed and frankly will not buy another Continental product. How could a tire with a pronounced bump slip through their handmade German quality standards??? Maybe it would be better if a machine made the tire instead!

I will probably replace the tire with a regular MTB slick instead and just accept that Continental ripped me off - once.

So far I have log 37 hours on this tire and there is no sign of wear. It's quiet, doesn't heat up, and rolls like a dream. I'm using it on a magnetic trainer and have no complaints.

Great training tire for MTB's!

I use this on two different MTB's which I usually have 2.4 tires on and it works just fine. I've only put about 30 hours on the tire so far but it stands up well and doesn't add any noise to the trainer. I haven't noticed any slip yet even when upping the pace during interval training. It was a real easy install as well (I've been traumatized by some of my WTB tires). Good stuff and it works great on my MTB application.

I use this tire and I am on my third year using it with my Kurt Kinetic trainer. I wipe the tire down every other ride with a paper towel and degreaser to stop squeaking and tire slipping. Works nice.
