The GP4000 features Continental's innovative Silica rubber compound for safe, super-fast cornering and low rolling resistance. They call it Black Chili, and it's made of rubber compound particles that are many times smaller than typically used. The tightly-bound particles in the resulting material offer reduced wear, extra flexibility for low rolling resistance, and more points of contact with the road for superb grip.
