Call me a fool for not doing a tiny bit of research, or realizing that Clif Bar's are available pretty much EVERYWHERE, and I ended up ordering 13 of these things so I could get the limited time 15% discount and only have to pay $1.79 each. ($23.27 for 13 Clif bars) I was trying to bolster my order total, to get it up over the $75 mark to avoid the shipping charges, but I should have put that $23 towards something else that I can't stop into ANY STORE IN AMERICA and purchase. (Like 5 more Tubes, or 1516 more CO2 cartriges, ANYTHING BUT CLIF BARS FOR $1.79)
I went to my local neighborhood 'Fresh and Easy' market this morning and they had LOADS of different Clif Bar flavors for $1.15 each. I was flabbergasted. Later in the day I went to Costco, and decided to look for them there. A box of 24 bars, 2.4 oz, just like these, for $19.68. This equates to .82 cents a bar. I was even more aghast... The Costco box has 3 different flavors, 8 of each flavor. (Chocolate Chip Crunch, Crunchy Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Brownie, I believe)
SERIOUSLY Western Bike Works??? MORE THAN DOUBLE THE PRICED OF COSTSO, and nearly double the price of a local grocery store? WHATS UP WITH THIS??? ON SALE FOR $1.79 ????????? (but only if you order 12 or more, otherwise they're $1.99 each) I should send them back, just for the principal of the matter. I'm really offended at the $1.99 price tag WBW has placed on these bars. But I feel even more stupid that I didn't do a my homework first. I didn't price compare any of the other nutrition bars on this site, but my guess would be I'd be robbed, just like I was with the Clif Bars. SHOP AROUND PEOPLE!!! or here's a better idea... Stop robbing people on this item WBW.
Dumbfounded in AZ...
