When it was time to add a new tire to their 'cross line up, Clément took a cue from a classic. The MXP, which takes its name from the Milan Malpensa airport code, is based on the popular Grifo tread, designed to offer an ideal blend of traction and speed when both wet and dry conditions are on the menu.
Split center chevrons allow the tire to roll quickly over hard-pack, but still bite down in light mud. Cleat inspired side lugs provide additional grip in the corners, and the open spaces between the center tread and shoulder areas allow the tire to shed mud and debris.
Like the rest of Clément's tubulars, the MXP uses Tufo's proven casing with no tube for maximum sealant compatibility. 120 TPI casing. 68 max. recommended PSI. 700c x 33mm (UCI legal; 33-622 ISO). 374g.
