The Catlike Leaf is sure appease XC racers and MTB enthusiasts alike thanks to its 23 ample air intakes and distinctive style, but it's the behind the scenes features that set this helmet apart from the crowd.
The shell itself is constructed using an In-Mold process, meaning the rigid outer shell is joined directly to the polystyrene core, furthering the helmet's resistance to impact while also working to diffuse stress in the event of a crash. Next, LNP (Lower Nape Protection) is added; this extension to the lower rear section of the helmet provides additional protection to the lower neck and back of the head. An anti-insect net has also been added to protect the front vents from bugs, and a detachable 2D multi-position visor keeps the sun at bay.
The Leaf features the new MPS Evo retention system reserved for Catlike's top helmets. Separate horizontal and vertical adjustment points offer customizable lateral and occipital support (the sides and back of the skull), allowing the helmet to accommodate heads of all shapes sizes. Once set, the retention of each support is controlled by a lightweight Micro-Metrical wheel for easy on the bike customization.
Finally, Catlike combines this efficient temperature regulation, impact protection, and superior adjustability with comfortable Coolmax padding.
