This light is well made and VERY bright.

This light will make oncoming traffic well aware of your presence and also light your way if riding after dark.

However, I wanted a light that had a flashing function, called Western to check on this feature and was told by the representative that this light had a flashing mode. It does not have a flashing option.

I have other Opticube lights and have been very satisifed with them.
