Description Castelli has updated their classic windproof, waterproof and thermal bootie for better stretch and even better wet weather protection.
The Pioggia 3 Shoe Cover features a PU-coated waterproof exterior and is seam sealed to eliminate leaks. A waterproof zipper, NanoFlex upper closure and slightly taller ankle design further your protection on the wettest rides.
Added touches like a thin fleece lining to keep feet warm without overheating, reinforced toe and cleat areas for extra durability, and reflective details for low light visibility live up to the standard set by Castelli's elite Rosso Corsa clothing line.
The Pioggia 3 Shoe Covers are available in Black and White, sizes Small - XX-Large.

On a cold day, these shoe covers work. They are snug, but well designed and well made and look like they will last.

Maybe my feet sweat alot

Coming from their Rossa Corsa line I had high hopes for these covers to be waterproof. Unfortunately, they are not. My 40 minute commute on a mildly rainy in Portland, OR left my socks and feet damp. They did fit over my size 48 shoe without much effort. Luckily, I bought these on a WBW deal of the day. Maybe I am expecting too much from a waterproof shoe cover.

The Castelli Pioggia 3 Shoe Cover is light, comfortable and surprisingly warm and water-resistant. Unfortunately, the lightweight material is not durable. The fabric cracked and ripped in numerous places after only 5 or six rides. I now have big pieces of fabric flapping in the breeze. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed with the durability of this product. I definitely would not recommend them.
