Like its predecessor, the Body Paint 2.0 uses a single piece of Power Stretch Lycra® fabric for all the major components of the short, delivering an extra close and supportive fit that's nearly "painted on". A new variable knit structure gives the fabric a dimpled texture for improved aerodynamics and more efficient moisture regulation. The full mesh back on the upper section of the bib provides a further ventilation and a an extra degree of breathability.
The new Progetto X2-Air chamois uses a layer of multi-density supportive padding and a layer of soft, antibacterial fabric against the skin. A few small tweaks allow it to breathe better than its non-Air predecessor for fast dry times and improved comfort. The Body Paint leg grippers are still knitted directly into the fabric to eliminate chafing and binding, and they're now sublimation printed for a little extra style.
