Description
The Athena calipers shave a few grams for 2011. This economically priced 11-speed design is easy on the eyes and the wallet, with only a few additional grams on its Chorus cousin. Also, like its top-of-the-line counterparts, the 2011 Athena Brakeset is available with both differential and dual-pivot calipers. The differential calipers have a dual pivot front and a lighter single pivot rear, which prevent skidding out the rear tire. Dual-pivot calipers in both front and rear provide maximum breaking performance and consistent feel.
