American Classic's Terrain 26" Tubeless Wheels are an incredible value, borrowing many features from their race-specific models, at a slightly heavier weight and a fraction of the price.
The 26mm rim width provides a wide tire stance for greater traction, and the low profile 21mm depth keeps the weight reasonable. American Classic has pre-taped the rim bed and includes a Stans NoTube valve for hassle-free tubeless set up, or the wheels can be used with standard tires and tubes. The Terrain is also compatible with latex sealant, and bead barb technology hooks on the tire bead to secure the tires in place without burping.
Traditional J-bend double butted spokes are strong, lightweight and easily replaceable; and, both wheels are laced three cross with 32 spokes each for uncompromising strength. Brass nipples extend the durability.
The Terrain hubs spin on oversized cartridge bearings and feature 6 bolt ISO disc mounts. The front wheel can be adapted for 15mm thru-axle compatibility with the Terrain 15mm Thru Axle Kit (Sold separately).
The Terrain 26 Tubeless Wheelset has a claimed weight of 1895 grams (front and rear). It's compatible with standard quick release skewers (front and rear) right out of the box. Chromoly quick release skewers included. 26 inch size (559 ISO). Black Buzzsaw with Black Hubs.
