Description Tough, versatile and great looking. American Classic's MTB 29 Disc Tubeless Wheels are a perfect addition to your all-mountain or XC machine and are now available in two color options for 2011.
The 22mm rim profile provides strength without adding too much weight, and the ample 26mm width means more efficient performance with wider tires. The rim is pre-taped and includes a Stan's NoTubes valve for tubeless compatibility right out of the box, but can also be used with latex sealant or a standard tire and tube.
Traditional J-bend double butted spokes are strong, lightweight and easily replaceable; and, both wheels are laced three cross with 32 spokes each for uncompromising strength. Alloy nipples save a few additional grams. Chromoly quick release skewers included. The AC hubs feature 6 bolt ISO disc mounts, and the front wheel can be adapted for 15mm thru-axle compatibility with the 15mm Thru Axle Kit (Sold separately).
